The film was originally premeired at the box office in July 1968 and is an animated account of The Beatles and their mission to save the music-loving paradise under the sea known as Pepperlandfrom the Blue Meanies.
This release showcases the songs contained within the movie and not any of the incidental pieces, hence the title "Songtrack"
