The Kinks frontman’s first solo album in almost 10 years draws on the warmth of Americana and injects a lifetime’s wisdom into a mature, absorbing record. The iconic British singer-songwriter’s 15-song meditation on the land of the free, inspired by his 2013 memoirs of the same name (including some spoken word content). The album was co-produced by Guy Massey, John Jackson & Ray himself. Recorded in London at the Kinks legendary Konk studio & features The Jayhawks as backing band.
